We purchased the butcher block style of this commercial level magnetic knife block for our travel trailer three years ago. It still looks great, adds a little style to our small kitchen and is going strong. While people have differing opinions on whether you should stow knives for travel, we haven’t lost a knife off this block in all our miles of traveling. Thanks for such a nice looking, well crafted and well functioning product!

This is absolutely beautiful. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I can’t seem to get it to hold to the wall as well as I would like. However, it has never come off and holds all 4 knives wonderfully. It has very strong magnets as well which I consider a huge plus because I have grandchildren and wanted to make sure they were strongly held.

This is the first magnetic knife holder I have bought. So I have nothing else to compare it too. But I’m very happy. I got the 18″ in butcher block. The double magnets are very strong. But not to strong that I can’t easily pull the knife off. Even with all my knifes on it they don’t move at all. Even being on the wall by my back door and slamming the door over and over they don’t move at all. Makes me happy this is an American company and made in the USA. Would definitely buy again, great quality!

Thus is one of the best purchases I’ve made! It is easy to install, blends in with the surrounding wood, and sticks to anything magnetic like crazy! As you see from the photo, it holds anything from a heavy Chinese cleaver to a bar spoon, & is great for tools in the last Mary room too. Just measure the right spot and get it, this is one of the tools you’ll have a lifetime (Made in USA)

I had gotten new knives that would not fit in my knife block-plus I was looking to clear counter space. I read about the original Heirloom knife rack and one of the comments was it was not strong enough for a vertical hold for heavier knives. Then I read about the double hold Heirloom rack. I got the butcher block 18” . I LOVE IT!!!! I hung it vertically. The knives cling to it immediately. It takes very little effort to release and use them.

This replaced two knife blocks on the counter. I had a little trouble drilling through my ceramic tile, but it was worth it for the knife holder. Looks great. Made in the USA is also a big plus.

This is an excellent product – the double strength option is definitely commercial grade. We bought two of them a year ago and just purchased a third one to expand. We get lots of compliments on how nice they look. It allowed us to free up counter space by losing the traditional countertop butcher block. The 18″ length was perfect, as it allowed us to sink the mounting screws into studs that are 16″ apart. We don’t hang our cast iron pans from it, but we could! Heirloom provided amazing customer service and we always appreciate buying products that are Made with Pride in the USA!
